I’m stepping up as a candidate for City Council because I believe in North Platte and its future. I served on the council before and bring that experience to this election. We find ourselves at a unique time in our history with a new city administrator, new mayor, a revitalized downtown, effects of Covid-19 on our economy and life and UP’s changing approach to railroading. I have skills and experience to offer as we face these opportunities and challenges. I see an opportunity to serve Ward 3 and our community.
Imo and I have made North Platte our home since 1985. We have three children Jessica, Beth and Ben all are graduates of North Platte High Schgool. We have three Grandchildren.
I currently teach a Comparative Religions class at MPCC and play bass in and Irish Band. The Flat Rock Irregulars, North Platte Premier Irish band has been together of over 12 years. I’m the immediate past president of the North Platte Noon Rotary Club. I’m part of the organizing committee for “Music on the Bricks.”
